Those who have read my blog will know I have mentioned Veganuary fairly regularly. That is because I think it is a great charity and idea.
If you haven’t heard of Veganuary it is a charity which, in their own words…
“Veganuary is a charity inspiring people to try vegan for January and throughout the rest of the year.”
They have been incredibly successful in raising awareness about Veganism and getting people to try it for a month and giving loads of support and recipes and information directly to the inbox of those who have signed up.
(The stats from January 2017)
There is also a Veganuary Facebook group where new and existing Vegans can ask and offer support, share hidden gem Vegan finds and just be around others also taking part. It is a fantastic community where if someone has been tempted they can post and get support in how to overcome cravings and what they can have instead.
Veganuary, as it sounds, was always a month long pledge for January, but you can now sign up and get the same support and emails at any time! Sign up and try it for a month, join the community on Facebook and see how it feels. See how it isn’t just salads and fruit. Get updates on all the high street places catering for Vegans and also all the accidentally Vegan items in the supermarket. It is easier than you maybe think and the support is amazing. At the end of the month you will realise that you can do it and that you dont need animal products and can keep going. Veganuary is on all the social medias so can be followed and friended for support and advice.
Nothing tastes as good as being Vegan feels. Take a look, sign up and give it a go. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain!
