Those lovely awesome people at The Naturally Vegan Plot have an event on tomorrow at The Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, Near Gunnislake, Cornwall, PL18 9FE.
They are meeting at 10:30am and will be finishing around 3:30pm. The details are below. Sadly I will be unable to attend, as I have mentioned before this is something me and the Vegan Bunny would love to take part in and it sounds really interesting and just a great day. How can we extend our choice of UK-grown, plant-based foods to feed a vegan population?
The Naturally Vegan Plot is trying to address important questions about production of food, other commodities and their impact on the environment and provide practical solutions
The Naturally Vegan Plot are offering this unique open day to highlight their vital work and the often neglected area of low impact, ethically produced food and commodities
Beginning at the beautiful rural, local eco building The Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, Near Gunnislake, Cornwall, PL18 9FE
(provisionally start time – 10.30am)
The presentation will include an introduction to the work of TNVP, looking at reasons, principles, methods, benefits and crops of vegan organics, woodland / forest gardening, followed by vegan lunch and an invitation to visit the site of The Naturally Vegan Plot afterwards.
(There are also lovely walks, picnic and heritage areas around the Tamar Valley Centre)
There will be an honesty box for people to make donations towards food, refreshments and venue hire.
Access is easy by road or train to Gunnislake
